I hope you all had a wonderful Thankgiving. It was so hard getting back into the swing of things today after a long holiday weekend. Here are some of my projects that I made using the Double Shots kit over at The Scraproom. Loved these nice warm colors and I had a lot of fun with it. A little bit Bella Blvd, Jillibean Soup, and KI Memories.

Have a fabulous week!

Fall Mini Album

I'm not really mini album savvy but I wanted to do one anyway. This mixed up chipboard album by Magistical Memories is my all time favorite so I wanted to use it to document some of the pictures I had from last fall. Used lots of Pink Paislee Amber Road on this one. I just adore Fall scrappy goodies. Here is the rest of it. It is twelve pages so I just made a collage to display the rest. If you want to see the details you can see them here.

Have a great weekend. It is gonna be a warm one here, well at least warm for the season that is!

Scrappy Stuff

I am a little behind here! Hope you all had a great Halloween! Halloween has become one of our favorite holidays in our household. We even went all out for breakfast this year.Isn't he fun?? I will save our Halloween photos for another post.
Last week's challenge at Cardalicious was to make a card using felt, buttons, and hand stitching. I cheated on the hand stitching as usual and used these Sassafras Lass papers. Here is my card. The full reveal is up over at The ScrapRoom. Here are my creations of the month using the Double Shot Kit which included Bo Bunny and Fancy Pants. I have more Fancy Pants to come within the next week.
If you haven't checked out The ScrapRoom Kits do so now. This month has a bit of Cosmo Cricket Earth Love, Crate Paper Seasons, Pebbles Lil Miss, and Bo Bunny Flutter Butter. All so bright and fun! Have a fabulous week!

Cardalicious #29

This week's challenge over at Cardalicious is to make a card using only three items. I chose cardstock, patterned paper, and alphabet stickers. I kept wanting to add more but couldn't!!I am so excited for warmer weather this weekend. We have been 25 degrees below normal it will be nice to see it hit the 60's by the end of the weekend. I was so not ready for snow yet. I am bummed that we did not make it this year to the pumpkin patch this year due to weather. It is one of my favorite fall activities but what can you do? We have some other fun stuff planned to do in the coming weeks. Enjoy your weekend!

October Recipe Card

The October Recipe cards are up over at The Scraproom. If you don't know what a Recipe Card is, it is step by step directions on how to create a double 12 X 12 page layout. Here is the double layout I did using the rest of the Doubleshot Kit over at TSR. The step by step instructions are on the message board there. This Jillibean Soup Alphabet Soup was perfect for Andrew's first day of kindergarten last year.

I really wish I had a better way of photography my 12 X 12 layouts because they look so much better in person but this is going to have to do!

On a side note, my "Feeding the Deer" layout I created for Sketchy Thursday's didn't win the gift certificate last week but it was picked as one of the DT favorites. Thank you girls! It has skipped over fall entirely here and has gone straight to winter. We actually got some snow this morning that I am not happy about. Hope you are having a great weekend!

TSR Birthday Celebration

October marks The Scraproom's 5th birthday! That really says a lot nowadays with the way the scrapping industry has been struggling lately. As part of TSR's birthday, the design team was asked to create an 8 X 8 two pager about ourselves. And because it is TSR's fifth birthday, we had to list five of something. You can take the ideas from the other design team member's layouts and in the end, have a complete "All About Me" album. Now I admit, I think All About Me layouts are difficult for me. I often find that I really don't have much to say about myself. I know that I will appreciate them more as I get older and look back. After a lot of contemplating, I chose to do 5 goals of mine right now for my theme. I was asked to use My Minds Eye Abbey Road from TSR's October kit for my layouts.
And my birthday card I did using the same papers. You can never have too many birthday cards!Have a great week!
